Submission Preparation Checklist
Manuscript Preparation Guidelines
Before submission, authors must ensure that the manuscript meets the following requirements:
- The title is precise, concise, and reflects the content of the study.
- The abstract is clear and self-contained.
- The study design and methodology are presented in a detailed and well-structured manner.
- Tables and figures are properly numbered and clearly labeled.
- All references are accurate and complete.
Manuscript Specifications
· To obtain all instructions, download the manuscript template and review the details.
· The journal has a specialized team for converting texts into customized, indexable, and citation-ready formats for online publication. The (XeLaTeX) template adopted by the journal can be reviewed, along with instructions for handling the file.
The use of diacritics or extension tools such as (-) is not permitted in titles and text except when scientifically necessary.
Plagiarism Policy
All manuscripts are subject to plagiarism screening using approved detection systems.
- The maximum allowed similarity rate is 15% using Turnitin.
- Manuscripts exceeding the specified threshold or containing clear plagiarism will be automatically rejected.
Use of Artificial Intelligence
Authors must clearly disclose any use of artificial intelligence tools in preparing the manuscript, specifying the name of the tool and the nature of its use. The author remains fully responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of the final scientific content.

Translated Reports:
The journal aims to expand its database and information published in its various issues by translating the latest studies, reports, and documents from foreign journals into the Arabic language. This provides students and researchers with more opportunities to access and benefit from publications in the fields of law and political science for their academic work and research projects. Many experts from various Arab and even foreign universities participate in providing these translations for our journal.
Commentary on Judicial Provisions
A distinguished group of Iraqi professors specializing in the legal field offers their commentary on judicial decisions issued by various Iraqi courts in the form of a working paper. These commentaries detail the contents of these decisions and discuss the different viewpoints and opinions surrounding them. The main objective is to provide valuable academic material for law students in various Iraqi universities.
Book Review
The journal adopts a unique approach by presenting the latest books related to legal and political research available in Iraqi, Arab, and foreign libraries, along with comprehensive summaries of the books. This task is undertaken by Iraqi professors and researchers in the relevant fields, with the goal of providing a broader knowledge base for students and researchers seeking information from these books for their benefit.
Topic Review
Focus and Scope
The Topic Review section aims to provide a robust scientific platform for publishing analytical and critical articles that address public issues, social problems, or contemporary political and intellectual phenomena. This section does not require an empirical or field-based component; instead, it focuses on:

Providing a comprehensive critical vision of a social problem or complex public phenomena.

Deconstructing and analyzing public policies and offering solutions or alternative approaches.

Reviewing literature and differing opinions on a specific topic and reframing it within a new intellectual context.
Manuscript Conditions and Structure
Articles submitted to this section must be characterized by analytical depth and methodological coherence, and they must adhere to the following structure:

Title and Abstract: A comprehensive abstract (in Arabic and English) that clarifies the targeted public issue, the main axes of the review, and the conclusions reached by the researcher.

Introduction: Grounding the topic conceptually, demonstrating its societal or academic importance, and identifying the primary question or problem.

Discussion and Analysis: Dividing the topic into logical sub-axes that discuss aspects of the problem (causes, repercussions, social or political dimensions), with a strict commitment to academic neutrality and avoiding journalistic or essayistic styles.

Future Vision or Solutions: The researcher presents a critical vision or practical and scientific proposals to address the raised issue.

Conclusion: The synthesis of the analysis and the most important findings.

References: Commitment to documenting opinions and ideas according to the documentation system adopted by the journal (APA 7th Edition).
Peer Review Policy
Articles submitted to the "Topic Review" section are subject to the same standards of scientific integrity applied in the journal:

Blind Review: The article is reviewed by two (2) experts in the same specialization to ensure scientific rigor, the soundness of arguments, and depth of analysis.

Evaluation Criteria: Reviewers focus on: (originality of the idea, depth of criticism and analysis, soundness of academic language, and the recency of the sources used and their relevance to the topic).
Publication Ethics and Anti-Plagiarism

The review must be an original intellectual effort by the researcher.

All articles are subject to a rigorous plagiarism check via approved software before being sent for review.

The researcher must disclose the absence of any conflict of interest.
Submission Specifications and Conditions

Article Size: It is suggested that the manuscript size ranges between (500 to 1500 words), including references and tables, if any.

Target Audience: The section welcomes contributions from academics, public policy experts, sociology and political science researchers, and decision-makers.
