It seemed that the change in the system of government after 2003 had a profound constitutional impact on the course of civil and political rights, and one of the manifestations of this effect was what was adopted by the Iraqi constitution in force in 2005.
Where the constitutional legislator in this constitution outlined many principles, civil and political rights, which the previous Iraqi constitution did not contain the temporary constitution of 1970.
And that the new ideology adopted by the political parties after 2003 related to the method and method used in the administration of the state had an impact on the entire constitutional texts contained in the Iraqi constitution in force for the year 2005 in general, and on civil and political rights in particular, and this resulted in the adoption of this constitution to the right to privacy The right to a nationality in such a way that this right is far from law friendly and non-essential in principle, the right to the necessity to present the initial investigative papers to the competent judge within (24) hours and the right to everyone enjoying fair treatment in judicial and administrative procedures and the right toimprisonment And the arrest in the places designated for that, the right to have the accused as a lawyer to defend him, the right of the citizen not to be detained, the right of the enjoyer of political rights, and
finally the right of Iraq to not be extradited to foreign authorities and authorities.
